Related but Distinct Concepts (Day 26)

removing all my body hair
(not the main patches, of course:
armpits, eyebrows, head, pubic)
all my other body hairs:
fragile, wispy follicles,
silhouette blazing highlight:
fine, fiery (no need for
fiery fine silhouette)
sleekly slicccccing horizons
all aerodynamic-like
shifting weight churned inwaaaardly
to (newly de-haired) hiPbone:
adjusted lush resettle,
precision of sensual,
reappear, reflect, rebound.

crackling pulse the only
aftermath of extinction
jittering once wakeful hours
(no more coffee at lunch times –
it only makes for rash moves:
duct tape, lighters, tweezers, match;
burnt, spent strands tile dancing)
clacking on the handles, pull,
snickling on the handles, ‘til
that satisfying clean click:.
for i’ve got the hang of doors
now, i think i’ve got the hang
of doors, now, the very same,
until the last word here.           i
do not know the last word, but
i know it rhymes with boy.          i
do not know the last word, but
i know it rhymes with boy.

prompt: from R.A. Villanueva’s prompt, which asks us to watch a video two times, then create a poem with some constraints on form, rhyme, theme, and focus. you should just click the link for the whole deal to be explained more eloquently than this.
