Capital F (Day 24)

prompt: from Craig Dworkin’s prompt: this is sort of “un-found poetry” – taking a piece of erasure poetry and filling in words to line up and make sense of what was originally retained – trying our best not to cheat with font size or kerning.

notes on the prompt: layers upon layers – it feels like yet another layer added to an original text – and in this case, since the original erasure was so visual, there was yet another aspect to consider in this remix. i especially enjoyed working with this piece as it is by two of my writing inspirations: Winston Plowes‘ erasure of David Foster Wallace from the Found Poetry Review’s David Foster Wallace issue. as with so many prompts this month, to do this prompt properly would take more than a day, but…there we are.
