PoemGames (Day 22)

prompt: from Nick Montfort’s prompt, which invites poets to party “like it’s 1979” by finding a phrase to repeat using Python – a sort of solid column screen meditation. not having easy access to Python and having pleasant memories of programming our Commodore 64 (and 128!) with my brother (one of us reading code lines for the other to type), i created this little gif version. i used “gifmaker.me.”

source: if i have to tell you, you’re not old enough. the original “SHALL WE PLAY A GAME” is from WarGames. the rest is my tedious additions and messings around.

Special thanks to my brother, Richard E. Moore, for hours of programming back in the day and brainstorming error messages today.
