Peer Atheisms

a poem from a prompt at Found Poetry Review – remixing the New York Times crossword from August 30. you can see the crossword in question and make your own poem here. it’s far too much fun…

Peer Atheisms

Michele Bachmann
took the strategic route
to the rip seen
stairs scrammed
not to be late
(won’t miss it
this time)
the cretins aflutter
for sure
overran all
from a to zed
easts to wests
and the senoritas
in serapes
make huevos rancheros
she would kill for
she can kill for
she will kill for
as if the oral sensation
xed out the oops
the RIP
kiss them for me
(i may be delayed)

Michele halted

if Bebe can do it,
so can all the other hoes
