Are You Playwright Enough?

that’s the goading of the 31 Plays in 31 Days folks (Rachel Bublitz and Tracy Held Potter), in encouraging playwrights to bludgeon, bruise and bumble their way through a ridiculous amount of plays for this ridiculous amount of days. and i, thanks to a heads up from the great playwright, Mr. Patrick Wohlmut, whose Continuum opens in five short days, have taken the challenge.

i don’t expect to write the Next Great Play in one of these short pieces that will make up this last month of Summer. nor do i expect to post every one of these plays (i’ll spare you) but i do expect to write (which is a nice change from my recent “usual”).

and have written. and to prove it, i’m going to link to my latest – No. 3 of 31, which was based on my friend Jacob Fields suggestion that if i write a 30 second play that also sells Aluminum Decking, he might have a job for me.

so, here it is… Aluminum. i’ll wait for Jacob’s call…
